To elaborate, compressed air is conveyed through a double-walled drill pipe to a designated depth within the well, where it combines with the liquid inside the drill pipe, creating a gas-liquid mixture with a density less than that of the flushing liquid. Under the influence of the water column pressure within the annular gap outside the drill pipe, this mixture ascends at a rapid pace, continuously expelling rock debris from the hole's base to the surface.
